The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has announced that the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination 2025 will be conducted from February 12 to February 24, 2025. A total of 23,267 candidates, including 22,310 main examination candidates and 957 compartmental candidates, will appear for the exam across 97 examination centres in the state.

The Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examination 2025 will take place from February 11 to March 7, 2025, across 68 examination centres. A total of 17,194 candidates will sit for the exam, including 546 compartmental candidates. Under the main category, 12,403 students from the Arts stream, 1,026 from Commerce, and 3,219 from Science will be appearing for the examination.

Simultaneously, the Class XI Promotion Examination 2025 will be conducted from February 11 to March 7, 2025. A total of 18,375 students across all three streams will take the exam in 192 institutions.

The NBSE has reminded candidates to carry their original admit cards to the examination hall on all days. Students should read the question papers carefully before writing their answers and allocate time based on the marks assigned to each question. The Board also urged candidates to refrain from any form of malpractice and to reach their respective examination centres on time.

DC Chümoukedima imposes noise restrictions for HSLC & HSSLC Exams
The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Chümoukedima, has announced restrictions on noise pollution in view of the upcoming High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations, scheduled from February 11 to March 7, 2025.

To ensure a conducive environment for students, the use of loudspeakers, public address systems, generator sets, and construction activities that may cause disturbances is strictly prohibited between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM until the completion of the examinations.
