Imchen’s Custom Art School in Kohima celebrated its 1st Foundation Day on July 13, 2024. The program commenced with an invocation by Rev. Tiatoshi Longkumer, pastor of KABA.

Moa Imchen, the proprietor of the art school and a 3D architectural designer, reflected on a fulfilling year of teaching students about the world of creativity. He expressed satisfaction with the positive feedback from both students and parents.

Imchen announced the school’s upcoming affiliation with an International Animation Production Company, known for creating popular games and animated films such as PUBG, ML, CANDY CRUSH, emphasizing a commitment to providing high-quality education needed by today’s students. Imchen illustrated how fields like automobiles, architecture, fashion design, mobile and PC gaming, and animated movies start with pencil sketches and evolve through software corrections to achieve perfection.

His message to students stressed the importance of balancing extracurricular activities with academic studies.

As a special guest, Ketousie Khamo, newly elected member of the 2024 ULB from Ward 15 of NDPP, encouraged students with examples and praised the school’s initiative. He highlighted the significance of children exploring creativity in today’s digital age, emphasizing the role of parents in supporting their children’s aspirations.

AG Chairman Neizokhotuo Belho praised the institution’s progress since its inception, thanking everyone involved in its management. Belho recalled the inception of the art school, initiated by Moa’s creative vision and commended Moa’s dedication to imparting skills and creativity to students.

The event culminated with an art competition, marking the celebration of Imchen’s Custom Art School’s first Foundation Day.
