After a long hiatus from his solo project, Nagaland singer-songwriter Imliakum Aier has returned with Dimapur, a heartfelt tribute to the city that shaped his life and artistic journey. The song serves as the lead single from his forthcoming solo EP, which is scheduled for release later this year.

He recalled growing up listening to artists sing about cities such as New York, Paris and California, and dreaming of one day writing a song dedicated to his own hometown.
“This song is my way of celebrating Dimapur; not just for the world to hear about it, but for everyone whose stories, memories, friendships and dreams are connected to this city. I don’t think anyone leaves Dimapur unchanged,” he added.
