In the grip of festive Tsüngremmung fervor

Mokokchung, August 2 (MTNews): Festive fervor continued its grip on the district as the Ao community celebrated Tsüngremmung for the second straight day. Various events were held to celebrate the festival in the town as well as the villages. Apart from the elaborately organized festivities, there were also fun fair and other entertainment activities reported from across the district.

The 27 Mokokchung Town Assembly Constituency celebrated Tsüngremmung festival hosted by Nagaland Rural Development Minister Metsubo Jamir which was attended by people from all walks of life at the Multi-Sports Complex, Mokokchung on August 2.

Ungma Kosasanger Pusu

Kosasanger Pusu Ungma celebrated Tsüngremmung festival at Babu Tzübu Amphitheatre on Tuesday with Sharingain Longkumer, Speaker, Nagaland Legislative Assembly as the special guest.

‘Eve of Harvest’

‘Eve of Harvest’ organized by a group of friends known as The Five Hundred culminated on Tuesday evening at Mokokchung Village Compound local ground. The two day festival was organized in commemoration of Tsüngremmung festival to celebrate culture through innovation.

‘Tsüngremmung Extravaganza 2022: Season 3’  was organized by Communique which showcased fashion creations by designer Akala Pongen at the Babu Tzübu Amphitheatre, Ungma village on Tuesday. Imlibenla Wati Nienu, former Miss Asia Pacific Super Talent India 2016 & Miss Super Talent World Runners-up 2016 graced the event as special guest.

Eden Academy, Mokokchung celebrated ‘Senior Cultural Day 2022’ to commemorate Tsüngremmung festival at the school premises on Tuesday.
