The workshop sought to demystify AI by demonstrating how students can use emerging technologies as study aids to improve learning outcomes and enhance productivity.

Speaking at the event, Instudia Director Daniel Changkija encouraged students to move beyond being passive users of technology and become active creators and innovators.

“Instudia’s mission is to bring world-class technical exposure directly to the youth of Dimapur and ensure they are prepared to lead in an increasingly automated world,” he said.

Resource person Vishal Bardewa led the hands-on session, offering practical insights into using AI effectively while continuing to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

“AI isn’t about replacing your brain; it’s about upgrading your toolkit,” Bardewa said. “By using these tools to handle repetitive tasks and basic research filtering, students can focus more on creativity, deep learning and meaningful problem-solving.”

The session concluded with an open discussion during which students explored the future role of AI in creative industries and everyday life. A question-and-answer session on data security, ethical use of technology and academic integrity followed.

Organisers said the programme aimed to equip students with a clearer understanding of technological change and the skills needed to adapt to a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
