Mokokchung, 5 May (MTNews): The Inter-College Basketball Tournament (Men & Women) 2023 that was slated to be held from 8-11 May has been re-scheduled to 14-16 June, to be held at JV Rise Foundation Basketball Court, Signal Angami, Dimapur.
“The tournament is being rescheduled after DDBA received requests by many colleges asking for postponement due to exams,” Sentiningsang Longkumer, Honorary Secretary, Dimapur District Basketball Association (DDBA) informed in a press release.
The Inter College Basketball Tournament (Men & Women) is being organized by the Department of Youth Resources and Sports, Government of Nagaland, in collaboration with the Dimapur District Basketball Association (DDBA).
The tournament is open to all colleges under Nagaland University and Nagaland-based autonomous universities.
The tournament carries cash prizes for winners of both categories, including Rs 40,000 for the winners; Rs 25,000 for the runners-up; Rs. 10,000 each for the joint third place winners; and Rs. 3,000 each for the MVP.
