The National Cadet Corps (NCC) and the Yuva Tourism Club of Livingstone Foundation International observed the International Day of Yoga in association with Livingstone Foundation Society and Breeze Women Welfare Association on the 21 June 2024 under the theme ‘Yoga for Women Empowerment.’

Yoga Day
The day was observed with a morning Mass Yoga session by the students and mentors which was led by a group of LFI students of various grades including Ms. Karma Chozom of Grade-XI Arts, Mr. Prince Kumar of Grade-XI Sc, Ms. Vepelu D. Vadeo of Grade-XI Sc, Mr. Akiviu Assumi of Grade-XI Sc, Mr. Lohrü Pfoyio and Ms. Ruquekhrou Therie of Grade-XI Sc.

During the yoga session, the gathering of students and mentors were imparted with several yogic asanas including Vrikshasana (Tree Posture), Pada Hastasana (Hands to Feet Posture), Ardha Chakrasana (Half Wheel Posture), Trikonasana (Triangle Posture), Bhadrasana (Firm/Auspicious Posture), Vajrasana (Thunderbolt Posture), Ardha Ustrasana (Half Camel Posture), Ustrasana (Camel Posture), Sasakasana (Hare Posture), Uttana Padasana (Raised Feet Posture), Ardha Halasana (Half Plough Posture) and Pavana Muktasana (Wind Releasing Posture).
