Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI) Mokokchung Unit joined the rest of the world in celebrating International Nurses’ Day under the theme, “Nurses: A Voice to Lead – Invest in nursing and protect rights to guarantee global health,” at the Multipurpose Hall, SON, IMDH, Mokokchung.

Speaking on the theme of the day, Imsurenla, Nursing Sister, IMDH asserted that the calling of serving humanity is the sole reason for celebrating the occasion of International Nurses’ Day.
She also praised the beneficial influence nurses have on society while encouraging them to be outspoken in expressing opinions, ideas, and proposals in the workplace and urged the people to acknowledge the contributions nurses make through selfless sacrifice.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of International Nurses’ Day, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio recognized the efforts of nurses worldwide via his Twitter handle. He remarked that nurses are the backbone of the healthcare system and praised the selfless service they offer.
