Mokokchung, 28 January (MTNews): The Janata Dal (United) Nagaland unit (JDU Nagaland) has expressed its full support for the recent swearing-in of Nitish Kumar as the Chief Minister of Bihar for another term. In a statement issued today, the party lauded the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for recognizing Kumar’s “tall leadership” and appreciating his contributions to Bihar’s progress.

The JDU Nagaland president Senchumo Lotha and general secretary Imsumongba Pongen in their statement highlighted Kumar’s long tenure as Bihar’s Chief Minister, his status as one of India’s most seasoned politicians, and his success in implementing “innovative programs” that have transformed the state into a “model of progress.” Particular emphasis was placed on Bihar’s dense population, suggesting that only a leader of Kumar’s caliber can effectively govern such a complex state.

Furthermore, the statement acknowledged the role of the BJP’s leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and National President JP Nadda, in recognizing Kumar’s potential within the NDA alliance. JDU Nagaland expressedits unwavering commitment to standing by Kumar “under whatsoever circumstances” and pledged to work alongside him in fulfilling the NDA’s agenda.
