Mokokchung,18 April (MTNews): Jubilee Memorial College (JMC), Mokokchung observed World Heritage day by organizing a one-day workshop on pottery making at Changki Village, Mokokchung, which was organized by the Department of History, JMC.
Altogether 28 history honors students along with three faculty teachers from the Department of History attended the workshop. The resource persons at the workshop were members of the VDB Women Pottery House, Changki village. The students were given hands-on training on traditional pottery making as well as theoretical know-how of pottery making.
The Department of History, JMC, thanked the VDB Women Pottery House, Changki for availing their time and imparting valuable knowledge on pottery making to the students and at the same time encouraged the students to practice and inculcate the art of pottery making.
