Nagaland senior men’s cricket captain and all-rounder Jonathan Rongsen Longkumer scripted history by reaching yet another milestone of 2000+ 1st class runs, making him the first Naga cricketer and also from the North East Zone to have achieved this feat. This was announced by the Nagaland Cricket Association on Sunday evening.
Nagaland in their most recent Ranji Trophy Plate Group match played against Sikkim achieved a decisive 7-wicket win on 26 January. During the match, Jonathan scored 4 runs in the first innings and 6 runs in the second innings but was enough to make him reach the milestone.
