Established in 2015 by the Mokokchung Town Baptist Church (MTBA) to commemorate its Platinum Jubilee in 2012, Jubilee Memorial College is an integral part of the Church’s mission to provide holistic, quality education.
At Jubilee Memorial College, students can embark on a journey of intellectual exploration through a range of major courses such as BA in Economics, English, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology. In addition to traditional degree programs, JMC offers Certificate and Skill Courses tailored to meet the demands of a dynamic job market. From the Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA) to courses in Cutting & Tailoring, Basic Music Theory & Sight Reading, and Domestic Electrician, students can develop practical skills that complement their academic studies. The Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, approved and sponsored by the Directorate of Employment, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship, Government of Nagaland, recently conducted a hospitality course at JMC. Out of the 29 registered trainees, a remarkable 20 successfully cleared the interviews and secured placements in prestigious hotels in the hospitality sector.
