Mokokchung, July 6 (MTNews): Clark Theological College, established in 1972, will be celebrating its golden jubilee on November 10 later this year. In a letter to the pastors of churches and believers of Christ in general, the principal of Clark Theological College, Prof. Rev. Dr. A. Temjen Jamir said that, since the inception of the College in 1972, the College has been running successfully for the last 50 years through the constant support of the individuals, families, organizations and churches. He also expressed “heartfelt gratitude to you all and give all glory and honor to our living God.” The principal also mentioned that, this year, CTC Sunday will be observed on July 10, 2022.

 

In this respect, he has requested all the churches led by the pastors to prayerfully observe the day and also help in generously contributing toward the ministry of CTC. He also mentioned a list of prayer concerns which included:

 

1. Pray for the lives and families of the CTC Board of Governors, CTC Patrons, Life Members, Founding Members, Donors, Trust and Award Sponsors.

2. Pray for the life, family and ministry of the 26 CTC Faculty, and 27 CTC Staff.

3. For the academic year (2022-2023) 434 students have registered (DTh-6; MTh-69; BD-353; DCMM-6), kindly pray for their life and studies.

4. During the last academic session (2021-2022), 102 students have graduated (MTh-28; BD-70; DCMM-4), some will be joining the ministry and some will be going for further studies, please pray for their future endeavors.

5. Till date, CTC has produced 2,148 graduates (alumni). Some have gone to be with the Lord, and some are involved in different ministries. Kindly pray for their life, family and ministry.

6. Pray for the 4 Centres at CTC – Clark Centre for Leadership Development (CCLD), Clark Centre for Peace Research and Action (CCPRA), Clark Communication and Cultural Research Centre (CCCRC), and Clark Centre for North East India Studies (CCNEIS).

7. CTC is in need of a separate Library building. Pray for the financial support and needed resources for the project.

8. This year on November 10, 2022, CTC will be celebrating its Golden Jubilee. Pray for the Planning and various committees, the different works involved, the preparation and for the success of the celebration.

9. With the donations and support received from different Churches, families and organizations, the construction work of a new hostel for the ladies has been started in the third floor of the Mary Mead Hostel since July 1, 2022. Pray that God will continue to provide the needed resources and that the construction will be completed in due course of time before the celebration of the Jubilee.
