A district-level stakeholder consultation on Viksit Nagaland 2047 was held at the DPDB Hall, Kiphire, with participation from government departments, civil society organisations, NGOs, the private sector, and community groups.

The programme began with registration and networking, bringing together stakeholders to exchange ideas and perspectives. Deputy Commissioner Temsuwati Longkumer delivered the welcome address and presented an overview of the Viksit Nagaland 2047 vision, stressing the need for inclusive and forward-looking planning.
The workshop was moderated by Takatemjen Pongen, NCS, Extra Assistant Commissioner (Development), HQ Kiphire. Officials from the Planning Department and representatives from NIoT Shillong also attended and contributed to the consultation.
A sectoral assessment was presented by Er. Heoka Sumi, SDO, PHED Kiphire, covering five key development pillars: economic, social, environmental, infrastructure, and governance.
Participants later split into thematic groups to discuss achievements over the past decade, existing gaps, future priorities, and the needs of remote and marginalised communities.
During the plenary session, each group presented its findings and recommendations, followed by an open forum for further suggestions. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and plans to compile the district report. The district administration described the consultation as proactive, participative, and productive, and thanked all participants for their contributions.
