Akehda Amulung, an NGO affiliated with the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) in Kiphire District, hosted a key event under the “Viksit Bharat Ka Mantra, Bharat Ho Nashe Se Swatantra” campaign. The initiative followed a directive from Temsuwati Longkumer, NCS, Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of the District Level Committee on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (DLCNMBA).

At Good Shepherd High School in Kiphire, students, teachers, and staff came together to take the pledge for a drug-free India. The gathering aimed to heighten awareness about the dangers of substance abuse and reinforce the community’s commitment to battling addiction.

This campaign, spearheaded by the District Administration, underscores Kiphire’s dedication to fostering a healthier, drug-free society. The initiative highlights the district’s proactive approach in combating substance abuse and supporting national efforts to curb drug dependency.
