Addressing the gathering, Vineet Kumar emphasized the critical role of skill development in the economic growth of Wokha district. He encouraged the trainees to pursue self-employment opportunities, leveraging their newly acquired skills to start their own businesses, thereby contributing to their livelihoods and the broader economic development of the nation.

Nyanbemo Lotha, Principal-In-Charge of ITI, Wokha, extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries and trainees participating in the Vishwakarma Scheme. He highlighted the scheme’s core objectives, which include recognizing artisans through the PM Vishwakarma Certificate, providing basic training of five to seven days, and advanced training of 15 days or more. The scheme also offers trainees a stipend, a modern toolkit worth Rs. 15,000 provided free of cost, along with linkage to credit-based soft loans and marketing support to help them expand their businesses.

Anuranjan Singh, Project Manager of Shishoi Oshom-ETF, Wokha, and Skill Development Consultant, also spoke at the event. He urged the trainees to utilize their skills fully for entrepreneurial ventures and to take advantage of the various schemes and policies offered by Shishoi Oshom-ETF Cell, Wokha. He emphasized the importance of these initiatives in driving sustainable economic growth within Wokha District.

The trainees expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the ITI administration for the successful and smooth conduct of their training programs, acknowledging the support that has set them on a path toward sustainable livelihoods and self-reliance.
