Indus Towers Ltd. has installed three smart classrooms for high school students as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The project was officially launched by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Tuli, Relise Sangtam (NCS), along with General Secretary of the Kiphire Town Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KTCCI), Tsalichum S Sangtam.

The smart classrooms have been installed at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Kiphire, GHSS Pungro, and Government High School (GHS) Yangphi.

“The smart class room shall help the students for new digital knowledge and explore wide knowledge for expansion of ideas and information,” an update received here said. It stated that out of many schools only three schools qualified for the CSR project.

“CSR projects are purely funded by Private Companies. While initiating the project, enrollment becomes prime factors for such developments in Govt. Schools,” the update added.
