Kiphire, 21 February (MTNews): The farewell program in honor of John Tsulise Sangtam, NCS, the outgoing Deputy Commissioner of Kiphire, was held today at the DC’s Conference hall in Kiphire.

Addressing the gathering, the outgoing DC, John Tsulise Sangtam, mentioned that he had done his best in discharging duties during his short stay in Kiphire. He also stated that he would continue to serve the people with the same sincerity and commitment wherever he may be placed. He thanked the officers, leaders, and the public for extending good cooperation during his time.

The outgoing DC also extended a warm welcome to Temsuwati Longkumer, commending his successor as a sincere and dedicated officer. “By extending our full cooperation with the new Deputy Commissioner, we can achieve a lot for Kiphire District,” DC John Tsulise informed the leaders and the public.

The new DC, Temsuwati Longkumer, highlighted the poor road condition during his address. “Being one of the remotest parts of Nagaland, Kiphire needs good roads and transportation for progress and development,” Temsuwati Longkumer said. The new DC also asserted that he would work with justice and sought the cooperation of the people.

During the session, a special number was presented by Ms Marlin Thonger. A speech on behalf of Hq. Officers was delivered by D Robin ADC HQ, while short speeches were also given by officers, staff, and leaders, including Vekusheyi Rakho ADC Pungro; SP Kiphire Chinese Chakhesang; Zisepi Hd. Asst., Sepikyu Hd. DB HQ., and L Kipitong VP USLP.

Khiungmong invoked a prayer. The vote of thanks was shared by Chubasanen EAC Kiusam, and Chubamongla EAC chaired the program.
