The Konyak Union will appeal again to the Supreme Court of India regarding the recent decision to quash the Oting massacre case.

Konyak Union President Tingthok Konyak made this statement on the sidelines of a program today. He said that the Konyak Union, the Oting Village Council, and the victim families will proceed in accordance with the directives of the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization. Expressing shock at the top court’s judgment in a press statement on September 25, the Union urged the State Government to file a fresh appeal with the Supreme Court for the prosecution of the personnel involved and called upon the Home Affairs Ministry to grant ‘Prosecution Sanction’ without delay.
