Mokokchung, 25 June (MTNews): The Executive Members of Kubolong Block Level Federation, in collaboration with NSRLM (National Rural Livelihoods Mission), RD Kubolong Block, Block Program Manager, and AC-IBCB, organized a one-day charity work initiative. The event aimed to provide essential supplies and hold short prayer programs in six villages under Kubolong block: Khanimu, Longjang, Mopungchuket, Chami, Yimchalu, and Longpa.

According to an update received here, the charity work began in Khanimu village, where the KBLF team visited the Church Guest House and donated essential items such as blankets, pillows, and mattresses. The next stop was Longjang village, where the KBLF team visited the Longjang Government School Hostel, which is managed by the headmaster. The headmaster, along with the VC and school staff, warmly welcomed the KBLF representatives. During the visit, the KBLF donated chairs and tables for the hostel students.

 

Continuing their philanthropic efforts, the KBLF team proceeded to Mopungchuket village, where they donated essential items like blankets and mattresses for the community guest house. From there, they headed to Chami village to visit the Soul Care Home. This facility, under the guidance of the Chami pastor, provides a safe haven for children from various tribes and villages, offering them free accommodation, education, and nurturing. The KBLF extended their support by donating daily essentials like rice and lentils, followed by a mass prayer session.

 

Next on their itinerary was Yimchalu fellowship church, where the KBLF presented a variety of flowers to be used in different church programs and occasions. The final village visited was Longpa, where the KBLF engaged with the Longpa fellowship and donated flowers to enhance the church’s activities and programs.
