Kumlong, Sungkomen, Penli, and Artang wards have qualified for the semifinals of the ongoing 3rd Mokokchung Inter-Ward Volleyball Tournament, held at the Multipurpose Sports Complex, Mokokchung. The tournament is organized by the Kumlong Sporting Association under the aegis of the Mokokchung District Volleyball Association.
The semifinals and final matches will be played on Friday, the third and final day of the tournament. In the first semifinal, Pool A winners Kumlong Ward will face Pool B runners-up Penli Ward, followed by the second semifinal between Pool B winners Sungkomen Ward and Pool A runners-up Artang Ward. The first semifinal match is scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM, while the final match will commence at 7:00 PM.
The closing ceremony of the tournament will be graced by Mangyangnungba Jamir, president of the NDPP Mokokchung Region.
Earlier, seven league matches were played to determine the semifinalists.
