Wokha, December 6 (MTNews): Condemning the murder of Thungchibemo Humtsoe on November 30 at Lerie Chazou, Kohima, the Lakhuti Wokha Town Humtsoe Ekhung said they are traumatized and incensed beyond words by the “gruesome and senseless torture and murder of Thungchibemo Humtsoe, S/O of Late Zapfuo Alias Mhonyamo Humtsoe, by Seketol Kiso, S/O Pudaho Kiso of Kidima Village and his accomplices.”
“The victim is a differently-abled person,” the Ekhung said, calling upon all the right thinking citizens in the Naga society to strongly condemn such evil and abhorrent crime as such crimes have no place in the civilized Naga society.
The Ekhung while appreciating the law enforcing agencies led by the SP Kohima and the officers of the South Police Station for arresting the accused person simultaneously called upon the authority to arrest all his accomplices at the earliest and deliver justice.
The Ekhung also strictly warned any individual, group or organizations found hampering, tampering or obstructing the investigation process or attempting to secure the bail of the accused person and the accomplices stating that it would mean a “direct challenge” and that it will not be held responsible for any “severe repercussions in the event of miscarriage of justice.”
