Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has informed that, because of the roadblock due to a massive landslide which has occurred on NH 202 at KM 14 between Langsa junction and Dikhu Bridge, there will be a complete closure of vehicular movement along the said stretch of the highway (Chare-New Chungliyimiti-Meyilong-Longsa-Sewak Gate/Mokokchung) for two days between August 29-30, 2024 on account of restoration work/debris clearing.
Travelers have been advised to take the following alternative routes of Trongar- Alisopur-Longmisa-Mokokchung or Yangli/New Sangsomong-Yehemi-Suruhoto on the restricted dates.
