Longleng, 13 July (MTNews): Longleng Deputy Commissioner, Dharam Raj has cautioned citizens on the rising theft cases within Longleng town and nearby areas. The Deputy Commissioner said there have been reports of stolen items and property being sold in Longleng. In this connection, the DC cautioned the residents to remain vigilant when buying items from un-established shops or unknown individuals.
He also requested the citizens to report such matters to the police. The DC further warned that those found deliberately selling or purchasing of such stolen items or found to be helping the disposal of such items will be liable to be booked under relevant section of the Indian Penal Code
