Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji, has announced the reopening of the Longpong Bridge along the Asetkong-Tsusangra road near the 27.000 km chainage towards Tuli town. This comes following the completion of repair and retrofitting activities on the bridge.
The DC informed that vehicular movement for all types is now permitted along the said stretch of road with immediate effect. The notice was issued in pursuance of a letter dated December 10, 2024, from the office of the Executive Engineer, PWD (R&B), Mokokchung Division.
