Mokokchung, February 26 (MTNews): The Lotha Hoho has condemned the violent assaults on two of its members on 22nd and 23rd of February.
The Lotha Hoho in an update received here on Sunday said that it is deeply pained by the violent assaults on its members, namely Mr Nrithung Humtsoe, LH Executive Member, at his private residence in Wokha town on the 22nd February 2023 and then vandalizing his house, followed by similar episode at the private residence of Mr Y Bankathung Lotha, Treasurer of the Lotha Hoho Building Committee, also at his private residence in Longsa village, on the 23rd February 2023.
The Hoho condemns the unfortunate violence against its members, it said.
“The Lotha Hoho appeals to all concerned to maintain peace and tranquility so as to enable peaceful, free and fair voting,” it added.
