Mokokchung, 30 November (MTNews): The Langpangkong Tzukong Mungdang (LTM) and the Mokokchung Town Lanur Telongjem (MTLT) condemned the perpetrators of the incident on 28 November where the residence of the general secretary of Ao Kaketshir Mungdang (AKM) was raided by four unidentified masked miscreants.
LTM stated that the four masked armed miscreants raiding the AKM official’s residence without any reason while threatening those who were at home was an inhuman crime against society. While extending support to the AKM’s stance, the LTM demanded that the competent authorities apprehend the perpetrators and punish them befittingly.
The MTLT also said it “strongly condemns the cowards wearing masks that conducted an unwarranted raid” at the residence of the AKM official.
The MTLT cautioned that such house raids, “without legal sanction and proper identification,” shall not be tolerated in Mokokchung Town.
It said a fear-psychosis has been created during this festive season which has vitiated the congenial atmosphere because of such unwanted incidents.

The Mokokchung Town Lanur Telongjem warned that there will be no compromise when it comes to the safety and security of the town. “Any group or organization, if involved in this incident, should come clean and own responsibility. The MTLT shall not allow such random house raids in and around Mokokchung Town,” it further declared.
It also urged the competent authority to take necessary action immediately.
Meanwhile, the AKM has informed all its Executives, Senior Executives and Tribunals that an Emergency Meeting has been convened on 2 December 2023 at the AKM Conference Hall at 11:00 am. As such, all concerned have been requested to make it convenient to attend the meeting positively.
