Mokokchung, 21 January (MTNews): The Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) has endorsed the first-ever Mokokchung Mega Job Expo, a pioneering initiative of the Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board (DPDB). The Mega Job Expo is scheduled to take place on 30-31 January at Fazl Ali College (FAC), Mokokchung.
The two-day event, themed ‘Connecting Careers’, is being organized under the leadership of Thsuvisie Phoji, the Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung and Chairman of the Mega Job Expo Planning Committee.
“This Expo will serve as an invaluable platform for job seekers, aspiring entrepreneurs, and individuals looking to exhibit their skills. It is a wonderful opportunity for the youth to explore various career options and seek educational or financial guidance,” the MCCI said.
The MCCI further went on to say that the presence of recruiters from various corporations and financial institutions at the job Expo has been confirmed. “They will be offering job opportunities, loans, financial literacy training, and job placement training to eligible candidates,” MCCI informed. “This is an occasion that should not be missed by individuals seeking employment or those hoping to develop their entrepreneurial skills,” it added.
One distinctive feature of the Mokokchung Mega Job Expo is its inclusive nature. “This event will not be confined to the citizens of Mokokchung alone but any Naga, irrespective of any district in Nagaland, aspiring for a befitting job can register for the Expo,” MCCI said.
The MCCI, therefore, encourages all eligible persons to register and participate in this pioneering event.
