The Mokokchung District Football Association (MDFA) has officially announced the list of players selected to represent Mokokchung district in the upcoming Dr. T. Ao Trophy Inter-District Football Championship 2025. The tournament is scheduled to be held in Kohima in August.
Following a due selection process and trials, the following 20 players have been named in the district squad:

19. Tarepnungsang
20. A. Jamity Jamir
All selected players have been directed to report at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex on June 11, 2025, at 3:00 PM sharp for the commencement of the coaching camp in preparation for the tournament.
“The MDFA extends its best wishes to the team as they prepare to uphold the sporting legacy of Mokokchung District and strive for excellence in the championship,” the MDFA stated.
It may be recalled that Mokokchung lost to Mon in the quarterfinals of the previous edition of the tournament held in Tuensang.
