The Mokokchung District Football Association (MDFA) has announced the names of players shortlisted for the trial selection process to form the district team for the 25th edition of the Inter-District Dr T Ao Championship 2026.
According to a press release issued by the association, players selected from various clubs, tournaments and areas across the district and beyond have been invited to attend the trials, which will be conducted from July 1 to 3 at Ungma Rumpo Turf.
All shortlisted players have been directed to report at the residence of the MDFA Treasurer on July 1 at 10:00 am. The association has also instructed players to bring their own playing kits for the selection trials.
The invited players represent several clubs and football competitions, as well as those based in Dimapur and other outstation locations have also been called up.
The selected squad from the trials will represent Mokokchung district at the prestigious Dr T Ao Inter-District Championship, one of Nagaland’s premier football tournaments.
