The Mokokchung District Football Association (MDFA) Trophy 2024 will be held from October 15 to November 2 at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung.
Announcing this in a press release, the MDFA informed that registration forms for the annual tournament will be available at 3 Kit Photo House, Alongmen Ward, Mokokchung, starting from September 20. The last date for submission of forms will be October 2, with the fixture to be drawn on October 9. The tournament registration fee will be Rs 5,000.
Teams from outside Mokokchung district participating in the tournament will be provided free lodging and logistical support, as informed by the MDFA.
The cash prize for the tournament winners will be Rs 2 lakhs, while the runner-up will receive Rs 1 lakh. Both losing semifinalists will get Rs 25,000 each. There will be five individual prizes with cash awards and certificates.
Additionally, the new club registration fee will be Rs 2,000, and the renewal fee for old clubs will be Rs 1,000. The registration fee for players will be Rs 200 each. The transfer window for players will be open during the registration and renewal process.
