Football Association Meluri District (FAMD) became the 17th affiliated member of the Nagaland Football Association (NFA) on 12 December 2024.
The NFA also held its Annual General Body Meeting at the NOA conference hall in Kohima. The NFA has proposed the much-awaited Nagaland Super League, scheduled to be held from January 25 to March 25, 2025. This announcement was made by NFA President K. Neibou Sekhose during the meeting. The league is set to feature eight franchises, with a cash prize of ¹ 20 lakhs for the champions.
