The semifinals of the 14th Marsosang Football Trophy 2025 were played on Friday at the Langpangkong Tzukong GHS Playground, Chuchuyimlang, producing two competitive matches and confirming the finalists for this year’s tournament.
In the first semifinal, Merasen defeated Team Saturday 2-0. Temjenmoa opened the scoring in the 5th minute, giving Merasen an early advantage. The match remained tightly contested until Toshimongba doubled the lead in the 86th minute to secure the win. Merasen’s Tajungsang received a yellow card during the match.
The second semifinal between N Obang Memorial Football Team and Morung Boys United FC ended in a 1-1 draw after regulation time. Merensang put N Obang MFT ahead in the 48th minute, and Lanutemsu equalized for Morung Boys United FC in the 67th minute. The match proceeded to tiebreakers, where the defending champions N Obang MFT won 4-3 to book their place in the final.
The final will be played on 13 December at the same venue.
