The journey to the coveted crown of Miss Kohima 2025 officially began today with the Orientation & Sashing Ceremony held at the Nagaland Institute of Science and Technology, Lerie. The event brought together organizers, partners, and 16 contestants for a celebration that marked the start of a transformative journey.

Miss Kohima is not just a beauty pageant; it is a platform for empowerment, learning, and advocacy. This year, contestants embark on a path that goes beyond appearances, stepping into roles of responsibility, confidence, and service to the community.

In his keynote address, Show Director and Co-Founder Theja Sekhose emphasized the essence of this year’s theme, “Beauty. Health. Beyond.” He said:
“True beauty shines brightest when it is rooted in good health. Real progress uplifts communities and creates a future where wellness and dignity walk hand in hand. The crown is not only a recognition, but also a responsibility to serve.”
