Chuchuyimlang, 5 May (MTNews): 22 Arkakong AC MLA Nuklutoshi Longkumer urged the youth to be inquisitive and smart and asked them to be willing to explore the world.
He also asked the youth of this generation to go out of their comfort zone and find avenues of survival and self-reliance, instead of ‘opting for opportunities to appear at your doorsteps’.
He said this while addressing the gathering at his thanksgiving program held on Friday at the Anü Mai Amphitheatre, Chuchuyimlang village, Mokokchung.
The MLA also said that he will guide the youths to find greener pastures and reminded the people to provide due support to him as he is “dedicated to work for the welfare of the people.”
Longkumer thanked the electorates of his constituency for having faith in him and promised to do justice.
Earlier, short speeches were delivered by T Yashi Lkr, O Shilu, Tiashilu, Limasangwa, S T Nokdang Longkumer, Akum Jamir and Aodangit. A special song was presented by NPP Unger women wing.
The program was chaired by Imnasenla and the welcome note was addressed by NPP Arkong AC President, Moakumzuk while the invocation and benediction was said by Yaongyimsen Baptist Church Pastor, Chuba Aier and CBA Pastor, Rev T Lima, respectively.
