The Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) has announced that a Mass Social Work will be conducted on September 27, 2025 (Saturday) from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM in Mokokchung town under the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2025.
In a notification, Atsungba Walling, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer of MMC, directed all shop owners and business establishments within the municipality to clean and maintain the surroundings of their respective premises during the drive. “Active participation from every business entity is mandatory in order to ensure the success of this cleanliness drive,” the notification stated.
The initiative aims to promote a cleaner and healthier environment for all residents. The MMC has appealed for the cooperation and wholehearted support of every stakeholder.
“Let us join hands to make Mokokchung town clean, green, and beautiful,” the notification added.
