Mokokchung, February 25 (MTNews): The Mokokchung Municipal Council has directed all the vendors of groceries, vegetables and pharmacies within Mokokchung Municipal jurisdiction to keep their shops open on Sunday, February 26.
This is in view of the ensuing election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly and the departure of the polling personnel to their assigned polling stations for conduct of elections and to facilitate the purchase of rations and essential commodities for the polling personnel, Chumlamo Humtsoe, ADC and MMC Administrator stated in an order.
No other shops except the aforementioned shops shall remain open, the order added.
