Mokokchung, 20 November (MTNews): A vehicular accident occurred on Monday evening at around 8:30 PM in Mokokchung town when a Maruti Ignis collided head-on with a Maruti 800. Fortunately, there were no casualties or serious injuries, even though the collision resulted in the Ignis overturning after the impact.
According to police sources, the Maruti Ignis, with registration number NL 01P 5845, was speeding towards the main town when it collided with the Maruti 800 (AS 25A 5825), causing it to overturn after the collision. The incident took place near the ‘Eastern Hall’ area of the town. Several passersby participated in righting the overturned car.
Preliminary investigations were ongoing, and further details were awaited at the time of filing this report.
