The Ao Senden has issued a 30-day ultimatum to the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Nagaland, seeking prompt action on issues concerning Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH), Mokokchung.
In its letter addressed to the Principal Director, Health & Family Welfare, through the Chief Medical Officer, Mokokchung, the Ao Senden has demanded replacement posting of Radiologist and Dermatologist, shifting to the newly constructed Block A of IMDH, and cancellation of all Doctors and Nurses attachments and reverting back to IMDH.
The Ao Senden stated that the Directorate has been given 30 days to take necessary action on the above-mentioned demands.
It further stated that in the event of failure to take necessary action, it would reserve the right to take its “own course of action” to make its voice for justice heard at every level of governance.
