A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung and Clark Theological College, Aolijen, Mokokchung for an inter-library book loan initiative between the two institutions.
The agreement was signed by Dr I Wati Imchen, Principal of Fazl Ali College, and Rev Dr A Temjen Jamir, Principal of Clark Theological College, in the presence of Vice-Principal Vinod Kumar, IQAC Coordinator Bendangsenla, librarians of both institutions and members of the library committee of Fazl Ali College.
The meeting was chaired by Mesutoba, convenor of the Library Committee, Fazl Ali College. The principals of both institutions delivered brief remarks, highlighting the importance of sharing knowledge and resources. Presentations on library facilities were made by Dr Lendina, Librarian of Fazl Ali College, and Jason D A, Librarian of Clark Theological College.
It was observed that the combined strength of library holdings in both institutions can be effectively utilised to address limitations in specialised and interdisciplinary resources.
The partnership aims to advance higher education, research and scholarly collaboration through academic cooperation and optimal use of library resources.
Under the proposed framework, books and other materials from either institution will be accessible through a structured and secure system, promoting resource sharing and inter-institutional cooperation.
