Mokokchung, 1 November (MTNews): The District Administration and District Hub For Empower of Women (DHEW), Mokokchung under Mission Shakti, an initiative of Bedi Bachhao Bedi Padhao, conducted its first phase from 5th of October to 1st of November, 2023.
The Bedi Bachhao Bedi Padhao campaign featured screening of movies on gender sensitization, and menstrual hygiene. Group discussions on these issues were fruitfully held in educational institutions organized by the District Administration and District Hub for Empowerment of Women, Mokokchung.
The first phase campaign and discussions were held at seven Government schools and three colleges, including Mayangnokcha GHSS, NI Jamir GHSS, Senayangba GHSS, Dilong HS, GHS Mokokchung village, GHS Chuchuyimpang, GHS Sumi, Fazl Ali College, People’s College and Jubilee College.
Dignity kits were also distributed to all the girl students. District Mission Coordinator, DHEW, Moamenla Longkumer expressed gratitude to the schools and colleges who agreed and participated in the Bedi Bachhao Bedi Padhao campaign phase-I.
