Mrs. Lolenyangla, daughter of the late Malemtetba Lemdur and the late Phutishila Walling, celebrated her 100th birthday today at Lirmen village.
The occasion was organized by her daughter, grandchildren, and in-laws through a simple ceremony at her residence, graced by the Lirmen Arogo and led by Pastor Rev. Marliba Pongen and Associate Pastor (W), Miss Süpongrenla Jamir.
According to the official records of the Lirmen Baptist Church, Lolenyangla was born on 5 May 1925.
Since her youth, Lolenyangla has been a devoted Christian and a stern disciplinarian known for her strong moral ethics. Even at 100 years of age, she continues to perform all her daily chores independently. Her eyesight, hearing, and teeth remain in good condition, and she maintains a sound mind. She actively participates in all church programs as usual.
She is blessed with her husband, M. Lanutemjen Jamir, who is a few years younger than her, a daughter, and grandchildren.
