Mokokchung, 13 September (MTNews): The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Mokokchung Division on Wednesday felicitated 10 Best Performing Villages under Mokokchung district in sanitation and cleanliness SSG (Swachh Survekshan Grameen) 2023.
The ten villages included Settsu village under Ongpangkong North; Mekuli village under Ongpangkong South; Mopungchuket village under Kobulong block; Nokpu village under Longchem block; Anaki Yimsen, Anaki Old and Kangtsung villages under Tuli block; Changtongya Old under Changtongya block; Mongsenyimti and Yaongyimti New villages under Chuchuyimlang block.
The SSG 2023 was conducted during the months of May and June 2023 with parameters pertaining to waste management and overall visual cleanliness of the village.
The felicitation program was held with representatives from the respective villages at the Office of the Executive Engineer PHED, Mokokchung Division.
