The Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Mokokchung, has fixed passenger fares for commercial vehicles operating from Mokokchung headquarters.
The order was issued in pursuance of the resolution adopted at the RTA meeting held on July 9, 2026, at the chamber of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung.
As per the order, the fare for Tata Sumo services from Mokokchung to Kohima has been fixed at Rs 800, Wokha at Rs 400, Dimapur at Rs 900, Mon via Tamlu at Rs 800, Tuensang at Rs 500 and Zunheboto at Rs 400.
The fare for Mokokchung to Mariani via Changki has been fixed at Rs 400, Mokokchung to Amguri at Rs 450 and Mokokchung to Mariani via Amguri at Rs 500.
The order also specifies a maximum capacity of seven passengers for the Tata Sumo services, in a 1+3+3 configuration, as per ARAI specifications.
For night super bus services, the fare from Mokokchung to Dimapur has been fixed at Rs 650, Mokokchung to Guwahati at Rs 650 and Mokokchung to Jorhat via Amguri at Rs 850.
The maximum number of passengers permitted in the buses will be as per the seating capacity of the respective vehicle.
