Mokokchung, 18 February (MTNews): Shisalen Riju, a coaching center designed to offer free coaching classes with a special focus on NPSC and NSSB exams, is scheduled for inauguration on 19 February. This initiative is led by the District Planning and Development Board and is fully sponsored through the Common Pool under LADP.
Situated at the former Baptist English School site in the Tzusapang Sector under Mokokchung Village, the center has been permitted for use by the Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM). The institute is administered by a Director, along with a Finance-cum-Office Manager, and a multi-tasking staff. Qualified faculty members are recruited to teach specialized subjects in accordance with the prescribed syllabi. A six-membered Management Committee of Shisalen Riju has been nominated by the DPDB with Chumlamo Humtsoe, ADC Mokokchung as it convener.
The institute aims to provide distinctive and relevant professional academic guidance and mentoring to enhance students’ proficiency for competitive examinations and to instill a sense of responsibility in them as citizens.
The institute’s plaque will be unveiled by Metsubo Jamir, Nagaland Minister for Rural Development & SIRD, as part of its inaugural program at 3 pm.
