Mokokchung-based writer Longrangty Longchar released his latest book, ‘The Whirlwind,’ on July 8 at the Mokokchung Town Lanur Telongjem (MTLT) Office Conference Hall in Arkong Ward, Mokokchung with Imnaonen Pongen, President of MTLT, as the special guest.
Longchar shared that the inspiration for ‘The Whirlwind’ stemmed from his friend’s encouragement to explore societal themes through fiction. ‘The Whirlwind’ is his third literary work published by Heritage Publishing House, following ‘Timeless Whispers’ (2011) and ‘Seven Stones’ (2017). He emphasized the book’s imaginative nature and hoped it would bring joy to readers, thanking supporters and recognizing divine guidance in its creation.
Longrangty Longchar also has another book titled ‘The Storm in a Bottle’ (2016) to his name. The writer is also a longtime journalist who was associated with The Morung Express.
