Following the recent incident involving the arrest of Naga youths by the police, the Naga Students’ Union Chandigarh (NSUC) has issued a reminder to all Naga students studying outside their homeland about the importance of registering with the Naga Students’ Union to avail necessary support during challenging times.
In a press release, the union stated that registration ensures access to various forms of assistance, including legal aid, counseling, and other support services.
The NSUC president Ngamlung and general secretary Rhoto Vero said that without registration, students in Chandigarh will not be eligible for union support.
“We urge all Naga students to register with the union at the earliest opportunity,” stated the NSUC. “By registering, you not only secure your own safety and well-being but also contribute to a stronger and more united community,” it added.
The NSUC emphasized solidarity among Naga students, urging them to stand together and support each other.
