The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) is a non-profit organization that supports entrepreneurs in all industries, at all stages, from incubation, throughout the entrepreneurial lifecycle. TiE was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region.
TiE has over 12,000 members and 125 chapters in 70 countries. Its mission is to foster entrepreneurship globally.
Here are some of the notable entrepreneurs whom TiE has supported:
Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google
Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft
Azim Premji, founder of Wipro
Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of Tata Group
Naveen Jain, founder of Infosys
Vijay Shekhar Sharma, founder of Paytm
This has given me a lot to think about.
