Dimapur, 20 April (MTNews): The Nagaland Ambulance Association (NAA) has been officially formed and registered under Government of Nagaland to provide “quality and organized ambulance service during medical emergencies in the state of Nagaland.”

 

This was informed through a press release signed by its president Imlimeren Yaden and General Secretary, Khekavi Sema.

 

The Association in its release requested all individuals/organizations running ambulance service in Nagaland to register under the Association w.e.f 21 April, 2023 for “effective service and organized functioning of the ambulance service in Nagaland.”

 

It was informed that all registered ambulance vehicles will be issued with special permit, driver’s ID card and uniform from the Association.

 

It was further mentioned that “ambulances from different states will not be allowed to run their ambulances for businesses in the state of Nagaland but will only be allowed under special cases.”
