The Nagaland Beatbox Community, in collaboration with the Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA), is all set to host the highly anticipated 6th Nagaland Beatbox Championship. The competition will take place on 15 & 16 July at The Heritage-Old DC Bungalow in Kohima. This year’s championship will be held as an ‘Open Nationals’ event, running concurrently with the NAJ Cosfest.

Since its inception in 2016, the Nagaland Beatbox Championship (NBC) has emerged as a vibrant and thriving community of self-taught beatboxers in Nagaland. The primary objective of the championship is to foster collaboration, promote talented youth, and provide a platform for showcasing their unique beatboxing skills.

Over the years, the NBC has witnessed a significant increase in participation, and it has played a vital role in nurturing numerous artists who have proudly represented Nagaland on various stages beyond the state and even the country. The championship has become a symbol of excellence in beatboxing, and it serves as a launching pad for aspiring beatboxers to showcase their talent and gain recognition.
